INSUL - Sound Insulation Prediction Software

The INSUL software is developed by Marshall Day Acoustics, Auckland  - New Zealand. Navcon is the INSUL distributor for USA, Canada and Mexico.

SoundPLAN - essential

SoundPLAN-essential is a single document application including all the basic information for noise control modeling and planning. It calculates noise from roads, railways or industrial noise sources. The computation can include one or multiple noise sources.

HESSI Modal Survey FEM Verification

Navcon Engineering was contracted to conduct the modal survey of the High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (HESSI) spacecraft. The primary objective was to identify the damped natural frequencies, damping factors and mode shapes in the frequency band between 70 Hz. and 170 Hz.

FEMtools

Dynamic Design Solutions ("DDS") is an independent and privately owned developer of CAE software tools for a growing number of applications that exploit the combined use of experimental test data and finite element analysis data and for integrating and automating different CAE tools.

Vibration Consulting Services - Overview

Navcon engineers have a strong background in physics, mechanical design, digital data acquisition, vibration and noise. This combination of theory & application, analysis & test allows us to attack a wide variety of vibration or noise related projects. Following is a brief list of our general vibration services:

ELECTRO-SEIS Long Stroke Exciter - Ball Bearing

The ELECTRO-SEIS® is a force generator specifically designed to be used alone or in arrays for studying dynamic response characteristics of structures such as automobiles, aircraft, bridges, floors, missiles, piping systems, spacecraft, towers, etc.

DP - Abacus Analyzer
