The 2 day Environmental Noise Seminar training is intended for engineers, technicians and hygienists working in the fields of environmental, community, and/or Industrial noise measurement, analysis and control. The training will be presented at the Navcon office in Fullerton CA. Note: The training room is on the 2nd floor and attendees need to use stairs to get to the 2nd floor.
We will review the fundamentals of acoustics, sound source characterization, and outdoor sound propagation based upon national and international standards and guidelines.
Upon completion of the training, attendees will be able to measure, predict and assess environmental noise impact. Classroom lectures will be supported by hands-on laboratories which focus on test instrumentation & planning, digital signal processing, sound pressure & noise modeling.
The training fee includes lunch and refreshment (i.e., coffee, tea, soda, water). Vegetarian lunch option is avaiable on request.
